GRC Watchtower is a risk compliance management software for banks and other financial institutions. I was subcontracted to develop the UX and UI of a major enhancement that automated the risk compliance process.
Working as a UX designer on an app like this necessitates a thorough understanding of the underlying data and methodology, which was a significant undertaking in this case. Understanding the fundamentals of risk and compliance is challenging, involving numerous meetings with specialists and sifting through dense data.
User Persona & Access Options
The primary challenge was integrating the vast amount of information and options into an easy-to-use and understandable interface. This interface needed to cater to various user personas by providing an overview of the information in a hierarchical manner, starting from the dashboard and drilling down to the details of the risks associated with each available product.
